SURISA offers a wide range of products which experience a change in colour when temperature varies. These products can be classified in three main types of product:

• THERMOSENSITIVE REVERSIBLE STRIPS
• THERMOSENSITIVE INKS
• PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS

THERMOSENSITIVE STRIPS

These indicators show the current temperature in colour. They are made up of liquid crystal which calibrated on different temperatures and printed over auto-adhesive paper act as a normal thermometer. Temperature is shown with a intense green colour over the black background. Our thermometers are different form the "usual thermometer" because as they are printed on paper they have a high flexibility which makes them perfect for usage over curved surfaces. The technology used is based on the BS EN ISO 9001 quality standard. We frequently name these thermometers reversible strips to not confuse them with the irreversible strips.

Liquid crystal suffers a secuential colour change brown / green / blue, as temperature varies, where green indicates real temperature. With a +/- 1ºC accuracy (0,5 in medical usage thermometers).

Variables such as colour intensity, durability/stability, sensitivity and response time can be controlled to produce different types of meters depending on the requirements. Aswell as shapes: Round, squared, rectangular... Products can also have non uniform shapes(such as flowers, animals etc..)

Our 20 year experience dealing with liquid crystal allows us to offer our customers not only a wide range of default thermometers, but also a range of possibilities to create Custom Thermometers.

- Available range of temperatures using liquid crystal: from -30ºC to +90ºC (*)
- Increments using liquid crystal: 1ºC to 10ºC

• (*) Our research department is working on reaching temperatures up to 120ºC without losing on product durability. At the moment we have reached such temperatures but the product has a shorter life span. We currently offer some products which reach that temperature

THERMOSENSITIVE INKS

Thermosensitive Inks are used to create many types of product due to their behaviour. Mostly applied uses for these are promotional products and their usage in security devices: Money paper, lotterys...

PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS
