We start from your need —not from a fixed catalog. We combine in-house manufacturing with a network of specialized suppliers to propose the best solution. You don't need to arrive with the technical data worked out: we guide you through the sizing.

How we work on your custom spring

Can't find a standard spring that fits your application? Most industrial projects need, sooner or later, a custom spring: a part dimensioned exactly for a specific load, space and environment.

You don't need to have everything worked out to start. Whether you arrive with a dimensioned drawing, a physical sample of the spring you want to replicate, or just a description of the problem, our technical team studies the case and proposes the most suitable solution.

01 Do I need a technical drawing to order a custom spring?

No. You can start with a dimensioned drawing, a physical sample of the spring you want to replicate, or simply a description of what the spring needs to do and where it is mounted. Our technical team takes care of translating that information into engineering parameters (load, deflection, material, geometry). The more information you provide, the faster the process, but nothing is essential to get the advice started.

02 Do you manufacture any type of spring?

We work to custom specifications across all the families in our catalog: compression, conical, extension, torsion, constant force, wave and curved disc springs, flat springs, wire forms and gas springs. What we produce in-house we make at our own facilities; when a specific part falls outside our internal manufacturing, we manage it through our network of specialized suppliers and deliver it to you all the same. If something isn't viable, we tell you clearly and point you toward the best alternative.

03 What information helps to size the spring?

What helps most is knowing the function (push, pull, exert a torque, hold a force), the required load and travel, the dimensions of the space where it is mounted and the operating environment (temperature, humidity, corrosion, food contact). Also the preferred material or finish and the estimated quantity. If you only have a rough idea, that's fine: part of our job is turning that idea into a manufacturable specification.

04 Do you make prototypes and short runs?

Yes. We work from a single unit and prototype through to short runs and production. During the consultation we indicate the most suitable option for your volume, and if it's worth validating a sample before launching a run, we suggest it to avoid surprises.

05 Is there a charge for the technical advice?

No. Advice from our engineering team is free and with no obligation. Our goal is to help you find the right spring for your application; you bring the problem and we bring the engineering to solve it.
