The FREEZESAFE label is an adhesive sensor for monitoring temperature drops. Knowing whether the correct temperature has been maintained is essential for the cold chain. This self-adhesive label provides evidence of whether your product has been exposed to critically low temperatures.

The FreezeSafe temperature indicator accurately and irreversibly shows whether there has been an unwanted temperature drop below the optimal threshold.

Its operation is simple; just stick it on the product or box of products to be monitored, and the indicator will change color from transparent to magenta if the temperature drops below the established value for a sufficient amount of time. As soon as the temperature drops, the indicator changes from transparent to magenta until it reaches the shade shown on the label.

The indicator is irreversible, so once it has changed due to a drop below the critical temperature, it remains permanently magenta, alerting of what has happened. This allows you to check later if a product has been subjected to an unwanted temperature, during transport or storage.

FREEZESAFE is a simple and economical method to control the temperature drop during the cold chain as well as the transport of medicines, vaccines, food and other products, which if exposed to freezing temperatures, or simply cold, can be damaged.

The color change is gradual, allowing you to see if the exposure to the unwanted temperature has been momentary or continuous. The label has a sample point with the magenta hue that will reach the control point after being fully exposed. This allows us to compare the magenta dot to the sample to see if it has only been exposed for a short period of time, in which case the magenta shade will be lighter than the sample, or if it has been exposed for the full amount of time, in which case the color shade will be like the sample.

For each temperature, there is a specific time in which the dot will fully reach the magenta hue. The available temperatures and times required for the complete color change are detailed in the following table.
